#2 or better premium poplar and southern yellow pine boards directly
from the saw mill and treat them with our unique coating.
By buying
our factory coated boards, your fence is completed when installed- no
waiting for the painting crew, no paint on the pasture.

Our Chemistry:
Our
nanopolymers fasten our biocide & bitterant directly to the
cellulose fibers. We don't just dump active ingredients in at the end
of the process, they are engineered in from the beginning of
manufacture.
Our biocide is not a registered pesticide, but it is a stable hospital safe disinfectant.
Our
bitterant is the world's bitterest substance, denatonium saccharide.
Bitter, but safe enough to paint on a child's fingers to prevent nail
biting. A 1400 pound horse would have to eat over 30 miles of 4 rail fence to approach toxicity!
Control the moisture: control mold, wood rot, reduce checking & twisting.
Moisture Absorption Test
We dropped water onto a piece of bitterboard.us coated lumber (Left) and a piece of untreated lumber (right).
After 60 minutes, the BitterBoard.us coated sample still is beaded, while the right sample has absorbed into the wood.
Controlling moisture is the key to reducing twisting and checking of fencing and stall boards.
Controlling moisture reduces the opportunity for wood rot fungi to destroy your valuable wood.
Controlling moisture, when combined with our proprietary biocide has been shown in independent, third party testing, to prohibit the growth of the eight most prevalent wood molds.
